Hindman Settlement SchoolThe Hindman Settlement School is an historic settlement school located in Southeastern Kentucky providing learning difference education and Appalachian cultural opportunities. When the School’s board of directors decided to take their marketing and development efforts to a new level for increased awareness and fundraising potential, they turned to APS Communications. We were able to create a new logo to be used for all areas of the School, its programs and affiliations. Marketing collateral and print advertising continues to be developed by APS Communications as needed. Development and fundraising strategy was developed by working closely with the staff and board of the School. To date, an individual, corporate and foundation donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation plan created by APS Communications is in effect and the planning and implementation of an inaugural golf outing fundraiser that surpassed its fundraising and friend-raising goal has taken place.
