fundraising professional. For over ten years, Ame was a development
officer at the University of Kentucky Hospital and UK Children’s
Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
While Ame headed the hospital’s fundraising program, she
obtained grants from foundations, corporations, and public agencies.
She planned and implemented a highly successful annual giving
program with many well-known community events raising funds through
hundreds of individuals and corporations annually. And, established
and conducted the Children’s Hospital’s first two
capital campaigns with a major gift strategy emphasis. In 2004, Ame added her services to APS Communications—as
part of a complete package of services in an integrated marketing
solutions company.
